$85 Billion Up For Grabs

Answering Yahoo! Answers

“I’m trying to find a website that has a good FREE online sharing of photo albums. I saw flickr.com but it looks like it can only upload 100 MB per month… Any other good ones preferably unlimited uploading?” Yahoo! Answers
——– ——-
This question was asked by a Yahoo! Answers subscriber in December 2007. But the question remained unresolved after 3 weeks and 13 answers, none of which was any better than the other. See their answers below.

By mid-January Yahoo! Answers would remove the question, as is their policy.

In an industry where experts say “$85 billion is up for grabs” we wanted to take a closer look at digital photography. In this blog we explore what’s available online today in photo sharing.

We’ll take a closer look at the sites mentioned in the answers provided on Yahoo! Answers. But since money talks $85 billion, we want to concentrate on photo sharing sites where members can earn income from sharing their photos. These sites appear under category “Earn Income.”

None of these sites mentioned by Yahoo! Answers subscribers was any better than the other:

  • Flickr
  • ImageShack.us
  • Media Fire
  • Photobucket
  • Picassa
  • Ringo.com
  • RockYou.com
  • Sendspace
  • Snapfish
  • Tinypic.com
  • Yahoo Photo.com
